Established back in April 1949 by Benjamin Bennett, Bennett’s has experience that other companies can only dream of! Benjamin, or Ben as he was known, started the business shortly after leaving the R.A.F in 1949. His first venture was pedal cycles, which he sold and repaired, most of them were for other local businesses who used cycles to make their deliveries. The first shop was opened very close to the current premises and after a short time sales had soared and a successful business was established. Bennetts continued to grow and during the 1970's 80's & 90's became one of the leading Honda dealers in the North of England until In the late 90’s when Russell Bennett took control of the business and soon found himself interested in the Italian brands MV Agusta & Benelli. He would then become one of the most successful dealers in these brands and went on to become one of the most respected technicians in the industry and is still involved with factory technical assistance. Now Bennett’s sells and stocks many brands including- Keeway, Benelli, SYM, Italjet, Mondial, MV Agusta, Hanway & MGB the latest addition to our products.
